John T. Catsonis

Partner

John T. Catsonis is a second-generation landman with over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily focused in the Appalachian Basin. He currently serves on the executive board of the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL and is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation. 

John began his career in 2009 with Apex Land Corp., a family-owned land services firm that he now owns and operates. At Apex, he gained extensive experience in leasehold and working interest acquisitions, title review, and project management. 

In addition to his role at Apex, John is a managing partner with OGM Partners, LLC, where he leads the firm’s efforts in the acquisition of non-operated leasehold and wellbore assets across the Appalachian Basin. He is responsible for structuring and financing transactions, executing acquisitions and divestitures, managing portfolio assets, implementing strategic efforts, originating new business, and maintaining relationships with joint venture partners. 

Outside of work, John lives in Canfield, Ohio, with his wife. They are active members of St. Christine Roman Catholic Church and enjoy traveling and spending time with family. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University, where he earned a double major in Finance and Management Information Systems.

Daniel Cooper

Partner

Daniel Cooper is a Co-Founder and Member of OGM Partners, where he plays a pivotal role in directly communicating with land owners and interest holders.  He also oversees asset acquisitions, ensuring strategic growth and long-term value.

With 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Daniel began his career with Mason Dixon Energy in 2005 and has worked across multiple states, handling all aspects of land work.  Previously, he served as Vice President of MidWest Land Services, further refining his expertise in land management and acquisitions.  

Daniel holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration, is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), and holds a Registered Professional Landman designation.  Additionally, he serves as a board member for the Michael Late Benedum Chapter of the AAPL and the MLBC Foundation.   

Beyond his professional endeavors, Daniel and his family are deeply involved in their church and local community. He has been married for 11 years and is a proud father of four children.

Robert K. Greiner

Partner

With over 18 years of experience in the energy, land management, and consulting industries, Robert “Rob” Greiner has established a successful career focused on leadership, strategy, and business development.  As the Co-Founder and Member of OGM Partners, LLC (2022–Present), Rob plays a pivotal role in overseeing strategic initiatives and driving the company’s growth in the energy sector. 

Rob’s energy career began at Mason Dixon Energy (2007–2012), where he held various roles including Landman, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager, gaining experience in land acquisition, negotiations, and project oversight.  Rob was the Founder and President of MidWest Land Services, Inc. (2012–2016), where he spearheaded the company’s expansion and managed land-related projects, building a reputation for excellence in the industry. In 2016, Rob founded RKG Consulting Services, LLC, where he serves as the Managing Member & CEO.  Under his leadership, RKG Consulting has provided invaluable expertise in land services, project management, and consulting, helping clients navigate complex challenges and achieve operational efficiency.  

Outside of his professional life, Rob is a dedicated family man, married to his wife of 18 years and proud father to two boys, aged 14 and 16. The Greiner family is deeply involved in their local church and participates in various community-led groups and organizations, demonstrating their commitment to giving back and staying connected to their community.  

With a proven track record of growing successful businesses and leading high-impact projects, Rob continues to be a driving force in the Energy Industry.
